Vedanta Iron & Steel Q1 Result: Vedanta subsidiary reported a net consolidated profit of Rs 122 crore in the fourth quarter of financial year 2026-27 against a net loss of Rs 142 crore in Q1FY26. The Anil Agarwal-led company’s iron and steel business reported a 19% annual jump in net revenue.

Vedanta Iron & Steel share price closed 4.3% higher at Rs 30.8 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 12,044.00 crore on Wednesday. The stock touched an intraday high mark of Rs 31.00 per share and an intraday low of Rs 29.25 per share.

Vedanta Iron & Steel Q1 Profit

The natural resources major reported a net consolidated profit (attributable to owners of the company) of Rs 122 crore in Q1FY27 against a net loss of Rs 141 crore in the same period a year ago. Vedanta Iron & Steel reported a net loss of Rs 1913 crore in the December quarter of FY26.

Its net consolidated revenue increased by 19% annually to Rs 3,612 crore in Q1FY27 against Rs 3,033 crore reported in the year-ago period. Its total revenue from operations stood at Rs 3,662 crore during the quarter under review. Vedanta Iron & Steel’s earnings per share stood at Rs 0.31 in Q1FY27.

The stock closed higher on Wednesday. It touched its 52-week high mark of Rs 44.77 per share on July 3, 2026. The stock dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 19.6 per share on June 15, 2026.
