The cement sector remains a preferred segment for Motilal Oswal analyst, with expectations of an earnings recovery driven by improving demand, lower input costs and continued government infrastructure spending.
Apart from earnings, investors will closely track monsoon developments, which remain an important factor for rural demand and overall economic activity. India witnessed its fifth-driest June on record, followed by heavy rainfall in early July.
