Qatar National Bank write-offs hit $1.8bn in Q2
Qatar National Bank (QNB) wrote off 6.6 billion riyals ($1.8 billion) of loans and advances to customers in the second quarter, its largest quarterly total since at least 2018.
The amount was more than 41 times the 159 million riyals written off in the first quarter and surpassed the previous record of 5.4 billion riyals set in the final three months of 2025.
