NFL’s Cowboys Owner Sells Dallas Office Tower

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones’ real estate company sold one of its towers. The 313,417-square-foot office tower at 17 Cowboys Way was purchased by Hobbs Brook Real Estate, the real estate investment arm of FM Investment.

The Dallas Business Journal reports the 11-story building, owned by Blue Star, is currently 98% leased to a diverse group of tenants, including Fifth Third Bank, Cain Watters & Associates, McAfee and Baker Tilly US. On-site amenities include a fitness center, conference facilities and outdoor gathering spaces. It is close to The Star’s Omni Frisco Hotel, curated dining and retail offerings, and the private Cowboys Club.

Blue Star and Lincoln Property Company had partnered on the tower’s development.

The 91 acres of The Star are anchored by the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters and practice facility.

Fifth Third will later establish its regional headquarters in a new 12-story tower in Preston Center, likely in 2028. The bank intends to maintain its current office space at The Star and in southern Dallas.
