LifeSearch acts on 28% spike in business protection enquiries

LifeSearch has appointed Nick Rixon as head of business protection and expert advice.

His appointment comes as the firm responds to a 28% spike in business protection cases in the last six months.

The brokerage has also seen a rise in inheritance tax-related (IHT) conversations.

Rixon’s appointment brings its specialist capabilities across business protection, wealth protection and complex risk under a single function.

He has served in various advisory, leadership and specialist roles at LifeSearch over the last decade and previously worked at Nationwide Building Society and Countrywide Mortgage Services.

“My focus in this role is to make sure that wherever a client’s needs are complex – whether that’s business protection, IHT planning or high-net-worth cover – they get advice that’s integrated into wider financial planning,” he said.
