Belief Systems launches 13 prediction indexes, but faces adoption hurdles

An embryonic start-up is attempting to turn binary yes/no bets into the kind of rules-based benchmarks that made equity markets easier to invest in more than a century ago.
James Stewart, founder of Belief Systems, has spent the past 10 months pulling order book data from Polymarket to assemble 13 event-based indexes that update every 30 minutes, covering themes from global conflict to AI
