BOXABL, A Firm That Used Investment Crowdfunding To Raise Growth Funding, Trades On Nasdaq

BOXABL, a company that has repeatedly used online capital formation to raise growth capital, will trade on Nasdaq today under the symbol BXBL.

BOXABL states that it has raised over $230 million from more than 50,000 individual investors.

BOXABLE raised money via several securities crowdfunding platforms using Reg A+, Reg D, and Reg CF. It also self-hosted an offering in partnership with DealMaker.

BOXABL became a public firm in a SPAC merger with FG Merger II Corp at a valuation of around $3.5 billion.

Like most early-stage ventures, BOXABL is losing money. Its most recent quarterly statement indicates the company lost $7.58 million in the quarter ending in March. In 2025, BOXABL delivered 23 homes. The company has reported 318 units delivered in 2026, a backlog of 271 units, and deposits of $3.3 million.

Many early investors should have a good return on the investment, with later crowdfunding rounds delivering less impressive returns for investors.

Founded in 2017, BOXABL is a pre-fab, modular home manufacturer. The company’s “casitas” may be ordered in studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom configurations. A future “baby box” is in the works.
