National Friendly secures new network partnership

National Friendly has today (6 July) partnered with PRIMIS Mortgage Network, providing advisers with access to its suite of protection products.

Advisers will now have access to the mutual’s income protection (IP), accident only income protection (AOIP) and Friendly Shield offerings – designed to provide flexible, affordable plans for customers who may not qualify for traditional cover.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to addressing the protection gap by providing customers with flexible and affordable products.

National Friendly CEO Graham Singleton said: “We are delighted to be joining the PRIMIS panel and working alongside advisers across the network to help broaden access to protection solutions.

“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting customers with flexible and affordable cover options, particularly those whose circumstances may not fit traditional protection options.”

Oliver Jones, commercial director at National Friendly, added: “This partnership is an exciting step forward and reflects the growing demand from advisers for flexible protections that support a wider range of customer needs.

“We are looking forward to working closely with PRIMIS advisers and helping them access products designed for customers who are often underserved in market.”

National Friendly adds sickness cover to Friendly Shield

Craig Hall, director of strategic partnerships at LSL Financial Services, said: “We always strive to give our advisers choice and National Friendly’s focus on accessible and affordable protection helps us to do that.

“We always want to support our advisers, provide broader options for them, stronger pricing and ultimately more ways to serve customers with products that offer the best possible outcomes for all.”
