The company’s board of directors approved a 1600% interim dividend of Rs 32 for every share with an equity face value of Rs 2 each. The board considered and approved the “1 st interim dividend for FY 2027. Each share of Rs. 2 face value will receive a dividend of Rs. 32, amounting to Rs. 400 cr,” stated the firm in its BSE filing released on Thursday.

The company’s board of directors fixed Wednesday, August 5, as the dividend record date. Investors must own the stock before the record date to become eligible for the payout.
Ajanta Pharma Q1 Result
The company, on Thursday, reported a net profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 334 crore in Q1FY27. The pharmaceutical had reported a net profit of Rs 255 crore in the June quarter of FY26. The company’s revenue from operations increased by 25% on an annual basis to Rs 1,626 crore in Q1FY27 against Rs 1,303 crore in the year-ago period. EBITDA increased by 20.5% on an annual basis to Rs 423 crore in Q1FY27. EBITDA margin stood at 26%.

The stock ended marginally higher at Rs 3429.15 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 42,842.30 crore on Thursday, July 30. The stock had touched an intraday high mark of Rs 3,528.60 per share and an intraday low mark of Rs 3,370.00 per share. The stock has a return on equity (ROE) of 28.54%. Ajanta Pharma share price value has surged 21.4% in one year and around 112% in three years.
