Mastercard Tweaks Virtual Card Program and other Digital Transactions News briefs from 7/24/26 – Digital Transactions

  • Mastercard Inc. unveiled enhancements to Mastercard in Control, its platform for virtual card numbers, including advanced virtual card controls and a single connection to the payments network’s network of embedded-payments partners.
  • Point-of-sale platform Lightspeed Commerce Inc. launched its Lightspeed with Meta Conversions API for Lightspeed Retail. The utility helps merchants understand how Meta ads influence in-store purchases. Meta is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms.
  • MagTek Inc. in collaboration with RAM Mounts, a provider of mounting and docking equipment, announced the availability of the IntelliSkin Thin-Case, technology that offers mobile payment acceptance and device protection, charging, and docking. Thin-Case works with the Samsung Tab and Apple iPad.
  • The U.S. Payments Forum released its Agentic Commerce: A Primer for the Payments Industry white paper.
  • Experian plc said Fastly, a cloud platform, joined the Experian Agent Trust ecosystem, which helps enterprises verify AI agents, authorize transactions, and make decisions in real time.
  • Mercuryo, a digital-currency technology platform, said it found that stablecoins accounted for 60% of all purchase volume for cryptocurrency bought on its system in the first half of this year, up from 43% in the second half of 2025.
  • InvoiceCloud Inc. formed a partnership with BlitzenX Solutions, a systems integrator for property and casualty insurance carriers, to enable BlitzenX clients to have access to InvoiceCloud’s bill presentment and payment platform.
