🏆Commercial: Midtown had the priciest commercial deal recorded in New York. Enbergar NY LLC sold the office building at 122 East 55th Street for $7.7 million. The buyer was 122 East 55th Street LLC. The five-floor building spans nearly 5,500 square feet.
🏆Residential: The top residential sale to hit records was in West Chelsea, Witkoff Group and Access Industries sold a sponsor unit at One High Line at 500 West 18th Street for $14.4 million. Anton Moldan, senior director at Macquarie Asset Management, and his wife, Stephanie Moldan, were the buyers. Measuring about 4,000 square feet, the unit contains four bedrooms and four and a half baths. Deborah Kern and Steve Gold with Corcoran had the listing.Â
📊Residential: Charles and Marie McDermott sold the home at 267 6th Avenue in Park Slope for $6.1 million. RH Sixth Ave LLC was the buyer. The 7,200-square-foot residence has eight bedrooms and three bathrooms.Â

What if every empty lot up for sale in the U.S. had a new home built on it?
It would shave 6.3 percent off the nation’s housing shortage overnight, according to new research from Zillow.
More than 300,000 such empty lots, spanning five acres or smaller, were listed for sale on Zillow in June, accounting for 17.4 percent of all properties for sale.
