Former Manulife chief Roy Gori lands senior advisor role at KKR

Career background
Gori spent more than 30 years across insurance, wealth management and retail banking in Asia Pacific, North America and other global markets.
His six-plus years running Manulife followed a stint leading Manulife Asia, where he had responsibility for operations spanning a dozen markets and pushed the company’s regional footprint forward. His career started at Citibank in 1989, where he eventually took charge of the bank’s Asia Pacific retail division, encompassing both insurance and wealth management.
