EFG International AUM reaches SFr196.3bn in H1 2026
EFG International has reported revenue-generating assets under management (AUM) of SFr196.3bn ($240.73bn) at the end of June 2026, representing a 21% increase from a year earlier.
Net profit for the first half was SFr184.6m, up 5% from the H1 2025 and 13% from H2 2025, excluding exceptional items recorded in 2025.
Net new assets totalled SFr5.7bn over the period, which EFG said equated to an annualised growth rate of 6.2%.
The inflows extended a run of 15 consecutive half-year periods with net new asset additions, according to the company.
Each region posted positive net new assets in H1 2026.
Continental Europe & Middle East accounted for SFr2.3bn and Asia Pacific for SFr2.2bn. The Americas added SFr0.2bn and the UK SFr0.1bn, with slower progress in those areas linked to specific outflows.
Alongside organic inflows, EFG said acquisitions contributed to assets under management in the past 12 months. Cité Gestion in Switzerland and Investment Services Group (ISG) in New Zealand added SFr11.7bn to the asset base. EFG also announced the purchase of Swiss private bank Quilvest in January 2026 and said that, following completion on 21 July, total assets under management are now above SFr200bn.
Operating income in 1H26 was SFr856.5m, a 7% increase on the first half of 2025 excluding the effect of an insurance recovery recorded in 2025. Operating expenses were SFr619.4m, up 8% year on year, reflecting the inclusion of Cité Gestion and ISG.
The group plans to combine Quilvest Switzerland into EFG Bank by the end of 2026.
EFG International CEO Giorgio Pradelli said: “Our strong results in the first half of 2026 show that we entered our new strategic cycle with positive momentum, delivering against the goals we outlined at our Investor Day in November 2025. Our AuM have increased by more than 20% year on year, driven by continued organic growth and successful acquisitions. With our asset base having reached an all-time high of more than CHF 200 billion, we are well positioned for the future.
“We are confident in our ability to carry this momentum forward, to consistently deliver sustainable and profitable growth for the benefit of all our stakeholders and to achieve our ambitious targets for 2028.”
